Texas Highways is, of course, the Texas travel magazine that was created in 1974 by the Texas Department of Transportation and that has evolved into something wonderful in the years since. Though the focus is still on traveling Texas ----- and that would be enough ----- the magazine also takes on Texas history topics, Texas food, recipes, music etc...
