Facts about Hunt County in the mid 1940s

In the mid 1940s, Hunt County (of which is Greenville is the county seat)  produced, on average,  60,000 bales of cotton, a million bushels of corn, six hundred thousand bushels of oats annually.  It also had 12,0000 milk cows.
